Over the last year we’ve collected feedback from many users around usability and spent a lot of time thinking about how to keep Sutra super simple and flexible at the same time.
What is changing today is that we’re recommending and optimizing for a slightly different way of setting up circles. Whereas before we had what we call “multi-function” circles – circles that have a discussion, resources, and sub circles – now we’re suggesting single function circles – circles that only have one of those functions activated at a time.
Our new approach gives you more flexibility in the way that you organize your program and community and makes it easier for your members to navigate everything through the right hand sidebar. Take a look at the video below to get a better understanding and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need any support.
The design changes are live as of today. Please note that with the exception of the sidebar moving to the right, nothing else will change with anything that you might currently be doing on Sutra.

July 15, 2020I really like the light sidebar option. What I find most interesting is the small circular video of you that is in the lower left. That looks like it is very useful and could be fun too!
