Fancy Link

Learn how to use the Fancy Link feature to display external links with a visual preview, custom title, text, and thumbnail for better content presentation.

This feature allows you to display a link in a much more visually appealing way and can help improve the readability of a content page.

Here are the steps:

Copy the link address and paste it into your Sutra space
Select the link address and click on the hyperlink icon

Change the link format to Display as Fancy link

And this will be the result:

The system will copy the info from the website, but in the block Settings, you will have the option to edit the title, the preview text and the thumbnail:

Troubleshooting

The link doesn't turn into a fancy link — Select the pasted link address, click the hyperlink icon, and change the link format to Display as Fancy link.
The wrong title, text, or thumbnail is pulled in — The system copies info from the website automatically, but you can override it. Open the block Settings to edit the title, preview text, and thumbnail.
No preview appears after pasting — Make sure you pasted the full link address into the space first, then select it before applying the Fancy link format.
