Release your content piece by piece

Sutra allows you to release your program content piece by piece by scheduling your content sub spaces for publishing. Let's see an example:

Here I have a two-month program and I would like my content to be released month by month. So I have two content circles here for March and April.

Publish space on a specific date

You can set up the date you want to publish a space directly on the page while creating a new space:

Or, you can do this later by acessing the sub space you want to schedule.

Click on Manage > select Scheduling settings > enable the option Publish this space on a date:

Not leaving the Scheduling settings you can repeat these actions for the rest of your content spaces. After that you can return to the space - the settings will be saved automatically.

The platform will use your computer's time zone.

Only you as a manager will be able to see the spaces scheduled for publishing. These content sub spaces will not be visible on the left sidebar until they are published.

Schedule collapsable sections inside content spaces

Inside the content space, you can choose to organize your content in collapsible sections with several content pages in them and schedule each of them for publishing. In this example, we will publish a collapsable section week by week.

For this, go inside the content space, switch to the Edit page mode, and add a Collapsable section:

Write the title for the collapsable section and set the publishing date:

You can add as many content pages to your section as you want. Pages can contain text, files, images, videos, etc.
You can always edit the publishing date by clicking on the Edit button in this collapsable section:

Troubleshooting

Scheduled space isn't appearing for members — Scheduled content sub spaces are hidden from the left sidebar until their publish date arrives; only managers can see them beforehand.
Content published at the wrong time — Scheduling uses your computer's time zone, so check the time zone of the device used to set the date.
Need to change a publish date — For a space, open Manage > Scheduling settings; for a collapsable section, click the Edit button on that section.
