The Add to calendar button is a button block that lets readers save an event to their own calendar in one click. Use it when you want people to remember a live session without building a full event space.
Before you start
You can add this button on any page you can edit, including registration pages, so readers can save an event even before they sign up. Have the event's date, time, and time zone ready before you begin.
Add the button
In the editor, click on a new line and open the building blocks menu with the + icon.
Under Buttons, choose Add to calendar. A button labeled "Add to calendar" is added to the page.
Click the button and open its settings to fill in the event details.
You can also convert a button you already have: select it, open Button action, and choose Calendar invite.
Set the event details
With the button selected, open the Event details section in the settings panel and fill in:
Event name — the title attendees see in their calendar.
All-day event — turn this on for a date-only event with no start or end time.
Starts and Ends — pick the date and time. The end defaults to one hour after the start, and you can't set a start in the past.
Time zone — defaults to your browser's time zone. Set it to the event's time zone so the time is correct for everyone.
Location — an address or a meeting link.
Description — anything attendees should know before the event.
You can also restyle the button — its text, color, size, and alignment — from the same settings panel.
What readers see
When a reader clicks the button, they pick their calendar from a short menu: Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, iCal file, Microsoft 365, Outlook.com, or Yahoo Calendar. The event is added with the name, time, location, and description you set. Timed events land at the right moment in each reader's own calendar, and all-day events stay on the date you chose.
Add to calendar button vs. event space
Use the Add to calendar button when you only need a save-to-calendar link on a page. If you need registration, confirmation emails, reminders, and a video link, create an event space instead — it includes its own add-to-calendar option for people who register.
Troubleshooting
Clicking the button does nothing — The button needs at least a start date. Select it, open Event details, and set the start.
The calendar time is off — Check the Time zone field. It defaults to your browser's zone, so set it to the event's actual time zone.
