You can add video to any page in two ways: upload a video file directly, or embed one from a link (Loom, YouTube, or Vimeo). Embedding a hosted link is the best choice for long or high-resolution videos, since it keeps your pages fast.
Add a video block
Open the page you want to edit.
Open the add-block menu (the + that appears as you edit) and choose Video.
Either upload a video file from your device, or paste a link from Loom, YouTube, or Vimeo — Sutra embeds it automatically.
Embed other media
For documents, slideshows, and other content, use the Embed block instead. Paste the share link and Sutra displays it inline on the page.
Tips
Uploaded videos are processed after upload — give large files a moment to finish before they play.
For very large videos, host them on Loom, YouTube, or Vimeo and embed the link rather than uploading.
Make sure the source video is set to public or unlisted, so your members can view it.
