Restoring Team Resilience

Tools for you and your team to rekindle and maintain your sense of purpose and well-being in challenging times.

We are in a period of significant uncertainty and change...

...and as leaders, it can be hard to keep our teams engaged and resilient. Teams need a sense of purpose, a coherent story, and the tools stay focused and healthy in the face of relentless change and challenge.

Resiliency isn’t something that can be learned from one or two webinars or training sessions. It must be practiced. This resiliency lab provides training, but more importantly, the space to practice and evolve as a team - together.

Resilience is not about being untouched by adversity. It’s about playing an active role in how you use the difficulty to transform yourself, your organization, and your world.”

– Dr. Cynthia Scott

Resilience Lab Format

The Resilience Lab is anchored in Dr. Cynthia Scott’s Resilience Canvas (below)  - a simple research based framework developed from decade of her work and research with organizations across industries and missions.

  Six facilitated 1.5-hour labs

You and your team will participate in a live interactive session with practical tools, connected conversations, and reflective practices.  Each week we will focus on an aspect of the resiliency canvas:

  Week 1: (Un)Certainty (Intro)

  Week 2: Coherence

  Week 3: Control

  Week 4: Centered Capacity

  Week 5: Challenge

  Week 6: Connection

  Community of Practice

You will be paired with two others in the lab in a learning pod to apply these tools to your own work and life. You’ll also be registered to a support forum to help guide you and your team along the way.

  Toolkit

Worksheets, models, templates and recorded zoom calls. Our approach uses maps as tools in this journey. This map represents the ongoing journey of team resilience.

My 40-year career has been devoted to helping values driven leaders identify, simplify, and apply a set of personal and leadership capacities for sustaining energy and momentum during change and transition. I’ve packed my experience into a time-tested and research validated set of approaches in the Restoring Resilience Lab, so you can refresh, reset, and renew yourself, your team, organization, or community with a time-tested model of the five most important personal and leadership capacities to sustain performance and engagement during challenging change. These practices will be published as Sustaining Resilience: Purpose, Vision and Action in Spring 2022.

I’m excited to work with Eric Cetnarski, MBA who will bring his seasoned insights from extensive leadership, teaching, and formal mindfulness training. He’s helped organizations like Ideo, McKesson, Hult International School of Business, and Presidio Graduate School bring new energy and direction to their teams.Together we will bring our candid perspectives, humorous spark, and commitment to restoring you and your teams energy and resilience.

For me, the shift is, has gone from “not sure how”, or if I want to work for an organization ever again, to realizing I still have something to contribute. I’ve put that retirement idea on hold, I’m not quite done yet.
