Use broadcasts for focused communication
Broadcasts let managers send a message to people connected to their Sutra spaces. They are useful when an update should reach people beyond the activity feed, such as a welcome note, schedule change, event reminder, or follow-up.
Give each broadcast one main purpose. A clear subject and one obvious next action are easier to understand than a message containing several unrelated requests.
Choose the audience deliberately
Depending on the space and your permissions, a broadcast can be addressed to the relevant members, contacts, or a filtered selection. Check the recipient summary before sending.
For example, send course instructions to enrolled members, an invitation to selected contacts, or a reminder only to the group connected to an upcoming session.
Send now or plan ahead
Compose the message in Sutra’s editor, review it, and either send it immediately or schedule it for later. Scheduling is useful for a predictable program rhythm, but time-sensitive details should still be checked before delivery.
The Broadcasts area keeps communications across your spaces together so you can search and review what has already been sent.
