Use a branded address for a public experience
A custom domain lets an eligible Sutra space use an address you control, such as learn.example.com. This can make a public website, registration page, or learning experience feel continuous with the rest of your organization.
Choose the hostname before promoting it. A subdomain such as learn, community, or programs is often easier to connect than moving an existing primary website.
Add the domain and update DNS
Add the hostname from Manage → Domains and assign it to the intended space. Sutra provides the DNS record you need to add with your domain provider.
The change is made wherever the domain’s DNS is managed, not inside Sutra. Copy the values exactly and avoid removing unrelated records.
Wait for verification before switching links
The Domains area shows connection and verification state. DNS updates are not always immediate, so keep using the Sutra address until the custom domain is verified and loading securely.
After connection, test the homepage, a child page, and the registration or login path. Complete walkthrough: https://sutra.co/support/connect-a-custom-domain-to-your-sutra-website
