Choose the audience before writing
Members have joined a space and can access what their membership allows. Contacts are people available in your audience database who may not belong to that space.
Decide which relationship the message is for. Send an orientation note to members of the program; send an invitation to selected contacts who have not joined.
Import only useful contact information
If you already have a permission-based mailing list, import it from the People area. Include email and the fields you will actually use for organization or personalization.
After import, review a few records and confirm that the columns mapped to the intended fields before sending a broadcast.
Send one focused broadcast
Open Broadcast and create a message from a template or a blank email. Add a clear subject, write the message, and select the relevant members, contacts, or filtered group.
Review the recipient summary and links, then send immediately or schedule it. Explain why the person is receiving the message, share one useful update, and offer one next step.
