Choose a starting method that matches what you have
Use the AI Vision Builder when you have an idea or source material but want help shaping the first version. Use a template when the structure is familiar. Start from scratch when you already know how the experience should be organized.
All three paths create editable Sutra content, so the choice affects your starting point rather than what you can change later.
Build around the participant journey
Before adding detailed material, outline the sequence someone will move through. A course might use modules and sessions; a community might begin with Welcome, Introductions, Events, and Resources.
Keep the first layer easy to scan. Supporting pages and activities can sit inside the relevant section instead of competing on the main page.
Use content blocks with a purpose
Add text, images, video, files, discussions, surveys, buttons, and layouts where they help someone learn or participate. A short explanation followed by a reflection prompt is often more useful than a page full of media.
Build one representative section first. Once its rhythm feels right, reuse the structure for the remaining modules or areas.
