Our conversation focused on the theme of unlearning as a vehicle for personal and societal change.  One of my favorite moments was when Charles shared his reflections on how he taps into his aesthetic sense to guide his work.  What followed was a deep exchange about the relationship between beauty and emergence.

Charles also emphasized that you don’t have to be an activist to be a change agent.  Every person has the capacity to choose a new story to live from and that has a ripple effect.

We also launched Charles’s new Unlearning: For Change Agents course.

Our perceptions shape our stories, our solutions, and our world. When our narratives and assumptions are unquestioned, we end up weaving threads of the problem into the changes we want to make. To exit the well-worn ruts of the usual solution-templates, we must somehow see and question assumptions that we may not even be aware of.  This short, self paced course is designed to help you do that.

This experience is for activists, change agents, idealists, visionaries, and anyone exploring the relationship between personal transformation and systems change.  If you feel that something needs to happen, but you’re not sure what, this program will likely offer inspiration.

One of the things that makes this course different is Sutra’s unique conversational course format.  This format offers an opportunity to engage in thoughtful dialogue with voices around the world to surface the insight and understanding of each participant.

The Unlearning: For Change Agents course is available through a gift model which all of Charles’s offerings are based on.  Please register to join the conversation here: https://unlearning.sutra.co
